The Bonaventure Hotel is often viewed as being in the state of isolation from its urban context, The project Moon Phase is a response to this confining exteriority. It presents a new kinematic facade that engages the public and connects to the urban fabric, as well as offering an environmentally conscious retrofit to the existing building. This double performance is made possible due to the unique mechanism of the panel.
