Goals of this project were: promoting awareness about equality of men and women, educating illiterate women, helping the battered women to become independent and provide a refuge for these women.The humid-moderate weather of Mazandaran province has played an important role in its local architecture.  This led to designing porches all around the dorm rooms to help the air circulation. Also, the windows in the dorms are located in the higher side of the concrete shell for evacuation of the hot/unpleasant air. Another important design criteria is to consider high slope roofs, due to high level of precipitations.
